Hey friends! I am one of the faces behind Three Waves Retreats! 

Growing up in Stratford, Ontario, I spent my summers by the lake, camping and competing in open water swim races. After high school, I moved to Northern Ontario and really fell in love with hiking and the outdoors. Over the past six years, I’ve backpacked through Europe, South, and Central America, making some amazing memories. Whether it was hiking Machu Picchu, surfing in El Paredon, or snorkeling in Belize, each adventure has been incredible and only deepened my love for exploring new places. 

Currently living in BC where I take advantage of the remote work lifestyle to live out my hiking and outdoorsy lifestyle!

Hey! My name is Sam and I am so excited to be one of your hosts this upcoming October!! 

A little about me, I grew up in Ottawa playing competitive soccer until an ACL injury pushed me to explore other activities. I became absolutely obsessed with snowboarding and revolved every winter around finding the best POW. I've gone snowboarding all over the world, including west coast Canada, France, Switzerland, Norway & Japan! Although I may not be the best surfer yet, with my experience from snowboarding, and competitive nature from soccer, I am determined to keep learning until I become a pro!! 

I have also been very passionate about hiking! I've done multiple multi day hikes including completing the 8 day trek to Everest base camp. I will also be completing a 9 day backpacking trek through the famous “Tour du Mont Blanc'' in the alps this summer! Other than my active hobbies, I am also absolutely obsessed with reading romance fantasy books (specifically anything Sarah J Mass). So excited to meet you all!!! 

Hey there! I'm Tanya, and I'm beyond excited to be one of your hosts for our upcoming retreat! I love to travel and have countless countries on my bucket list. While I’m still perfecting my surfing skills, you'll find me taking lessons across the globe, from Bali to Portugal, Costa Rica to Guatemala, and I am super eager to practice and improve.

But my passion for adventure doesn't stop at surfing. I also love to ski, consistently train Muay Thai, and am an aspiring acro-yogi! I also never get tired of finding new restaurants and trying the local dishes from various cuisines. I really cherish quality time with friends, and I'm all about creating unforgettable experiences, whether it's throwing a themed party or planning the ultimate girls' trip. I also LOVE taking pictures and documenting all of these memories.

I was born and raised, and am currently living in Toronto. I've also had the incredible opportunity to live in Singapore for a semester during my exchange, immersing myself in the vibrant cultures of Asia. Thanks to remote work, I’ve had the opportunity to spend half a year in Paris, exploring every corner of Europe. These experiences have shaped my love for discovering new places and learning about different cultures, a passion I can't wait to share with you!
